About the artist:
For the past 35 years, I've been producing and exhibiting my art in the Midwest and NYC. In 1987, I received a BFA from the Art Academy of Cincinnati and an MFA from the University of Cincinnati in 1989. My work is primarily mixed media assemblages that address environmental concerns. Formally, my art combines painted fantastical imagery with found objects. By doing so, this creates a dynamic tension between the manipulated surface and the tactile elements, enriching the ideas being expressed.
